From yesterday...Dad reported that mom was tired the remainder of yesterday. I also forgot to mention yesterday that mom was tapping her fingers and/or feet to the music!! And keeping time!! Lenny asked mom to read his shirt too --- it said "New York Jets 1960" and mom read, "1960." Lenny also showed mom the clock in her room and asked her what time it was because he and I were talking about the time of day and mom said it was 1:00 (it was actually 2:00). When Lenny showed her the clock, it was 2:05 (analog) and mom read "1:05" which makes sense visually...big hand on the 1 to indicate 5 minutes past the hour.
Today, Dad and John said that mom slept all day long. Tonight, when Dad returned, mom woke up and talked a lot to him saying, "I love you" and also "That's good" in response to dad telling her that all of us "kids" would be visiting her tomorrow. She also told the nurse she was "Fine" as well. Dad said he couldn't remember what else she said or did today. Anthony, Con, the kids, Claudia, Terry and I went to visit our cousin, Laura, today. We went to Sugar Loaf (a quaint village upstate near where Laura lives) for a Fall Festival and Craft Fair. We all had a wonderful day with Laura, Barry, their kids (Mikayla, Kevin and Joshua) and Uncle Ray, Aunt Irene, Billy, Karen and their kiddies.
