Claudia began the day with mom and she was bright eyed and wide awake and happy and smiling! As Claudia did mom's physical therapy, mom said, "Be Careful" when Claudia came to mom's left arm. Mom did 10 really great leg lifts for Claudia on the right side and 5 great lifts on the left! The physical therapist stopped in while mom was doing the lifts on the right side. Claudia set mom up for the day with her bed tray and a few activities (sewing card, magazine, nut and bolt...). Dad came next and found mom in a good mood as well. She continued her activities and then fell asleep. The physical therapist and dad woke her and mom wouldn't do any leg lifts for them, but stood for 2 minutes again today (and she had just woke up). She fell back to sleep when therapy was over and dad left for dinner. After dinner, Con, Anthony Michael and Sammy brought dad back to see mom. They said that she sewed her butterfly card, read magazines, and watched TV and talked. They did her full physical therapy and said that she was relaxed and not in the mood to do much else. I stopped in at the end of their visit and got mom ready for bed. We all said prayers with her together and kissed her good-bye.
