Dad and Terry visited with mom today. They said that she was awake and alert. They did her physical therapy/range of motion exercises. Tonight, after Claudia, Ava, Lenny and I came home from the WNET Celebration of Teaching and Learning Conference, I visited with mom for a while. Donna and Tom were there (our cousins) and Tom had her laughing at some jokes; and making faces at others! She smiled at me when I arrived and said hello and she tried to say Happy Birthday, but only got the "Happy" out. She was tired so she listened to what we were saying and then eventually fell asleep. Dad and I tucked her in and prayed over her.
