Hi Everyone,
Dad Kathy and Claudia are still upstate.
Lenny started Mom's day.. Mom was awake when he was there. Did full PT
and she ate all her breakfast.
Anthony, Anthony Michael, Samantha and myself went to see Mom at around
10:50. Mom was in the chair sound asleep. The TV was off and the lights
were out. We tried to wake her but she did not budge. Sam helped Mom
with Lunch. Lunch was ham, brussels spouts, sweet potatoes, coffee and
apple juice. I took cold towels and put them on mom's face. She finally
woke up and ate her lunch. She ate mostly everything. While eating
Anthony was telling us all stories about the time he and Grammy went to
Guatemala years ago. Mom made "eye" jestures when Anthony mentioned
different places and people. Anthony asked mom to hug him and she lifted
her arm to touch him. It was very sweet. Anthony did full pt and mom
moved her legs slightly. It was pretty cool.
Jean came to see mom. So did Terry. Terry was playing blocks with
mom.They put Mom was in bed. Dinner came and she had turkey salad,
carrot with raisins salad, crosiannt and juice. Anthony was helping her
eat but she was mainly feeding herself. She ate pretty much everything.
After dinner we all just hung out and watch TV. While watching TV we
gave her a dry erase board and mom was drawing lines. She had the marker
in her right hand then all of a sudden she took the marker and put it in
her left hand. Which see never did for us. It was pretty cool. It was
time for us to go, mom was awake but of course we left the tv on a timer
and she was watching the food channel. Kiss her good night and left.
